Rich Man Poor Man Antiques is the collector’s destination

Antiques, art, collectibles, memorabilia, man cave décor and dog-friendly

—Rich Man Poor Man originated in Cayucos over thirty-five years ago. Back then the rage was Victorian furnishings, China, faux florals, and lots of brown furniture. “Things certainly have changed since then,” said JoAnna Crebs, who co-owns the mall with her husband Myles.

In 2012 the Crebs moved to the Redwood Center in Cambria, expanding into a second location in 2015. At the end of 2023, the two stores were consolidated into one location at 2110 Main Street in Cambria.

Quality antique dealers fill the mall with estate jewelry, Native American jewelry, antique and mid-century furniture, decor in all fashions, coins, fine art, toys, books, fine pottery, sports memorabilia, collectible Hawaiiana including shirts, fine China and sterling silver flatware. The mall includes an outdoor area with plants, planters, and all forms of rusty treasures.

Big John’s Man Cave, which has been around for many years, is a popular locale in the store for all things manly. Knives, cast iron, collectible signs, pipes, toys, sports and automotive collectibles, and specialty items can be found ready for the man cave at home.

The Creekside Restaurant and Redwood Cafe are steps away serving terrific breakfasts and lunch. Shoppers can take a break to refuel and then continue shopping. Visitors come from everywhere in the United States and many from other countries. The mall in Cambria is just a short drive to Hearst Castle and the elephant seals in San Simeon.

Myles and JoAnna Crebs, both retired accountants have owned Rich Man Poor Man Antique Mall since 1999. “Owning the mall has been the most fun second career we could have chosen,” said Joanna. “The wonderful customers and dealers we have met over the years have been an absolute pleasure! You just don’t know what the latest hot item will be, often it will be what Martha Stewart or Joanna Gaines decorates with.”

The Crebs see themselves continuing to have the time of their lives at Rich Man Poor Man Antiques Mall for many years to come. Providing quality antiques, and collectibles, and superior customer service has been the primary focus of the Rich Man Poor Man since it was first opened.

The treasures are constantly changing. Visit often so you don’t miss anything!
