Exhibits showcase local talent
Inspired by a Master runs until June 30, 2024. All the artwork showcased will be inspired by renowned artists, including such iconic masters as Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Eduard Manet, Leonardo da Vinci, and others of similar caliber. The exhibit aims to celebrate the legacy of those master artists while also showcasing the unique interpretations and creativity of contemporary local artists. Visitors can expect to see a diverse range of work across various media, each paying homage to the influence of a specific master artist. The exhibit will present a fascinating exploration of how art continues to inspire and influence across generations and will offer a rich tapestry of artistic expression for all to enjoy.
Mauro Maressa—Here and Back Again, July 2 to August 25, 2024. Here and Back Again describes the artistic journey of Cambrian artist, Mauro Maressa. After a 40+ year career in animation and special effects, Mauro has returned to his early passions of painting and sculpting. Incorporating the skills that he honed as an animator, he is now creating again with the focus of his early years. There will be a special artist reception on Saturday, July 6 from 4:30-6:00 in the evening. Live music and small bites will be offered at the event.
